Sabor Grocery

Seasonal and fresh products from small Portuguese farmers.

Sabor Grocery was founded by Olivia Kohler and Bryce Lerebours, a French couple who moved to Lisbon. Both came from backgrounds in management and communications, but they had always maintained a close connection to the land and to food. Upon arriving in Portugal, they were captivated by the richness of local products and decided to create a space inspired by the Provençal groceries of Bryce’s childhood.

The shop opened in 2024, in Campo de Ourique, at 115 Rua Tomás da Anunciação. The concept is clear: working exclusively with seasonal and fresh products from small Portuguese producers. Many practice organic or regenerative farming; some lack official certification but were chosen for their trustworthiness, proximity, and quality. Each product carries a label indicating its origin, ranging from Sintra to Loures, Torres Novas, or Alenquer. Olivia and Bryce personally taste and select everything that reaches the shelves, maintaining a direct and ongoing relationship with the producers.

After celebrating its first anniversary in 2025, the founders announced the expansion of the project: in 2026, they will open a second shop in Lisbon’s Anjos neighborhood, bringing the same spirit of closeness, freshness, and authenticity to another part of the city, while preserving the human scale that defines the grocery.
