Mais Ervas

In 2011, the desire to have a project of their own - “something of ours” as they say - caused Tiago Relhas and his wife Susana Rocha to launch themselves into a world that was virtually unknown to them at the time: aromatic and medicinal plants. They had studied Agricultural Sciences a few years earlier, but without any specific training in this area. This did not prevent them, however, from moving towards the creation of Mais Ervas, a company dedicated to the production and marketing of these aromatic and medicinal plants. Today, those who visit the company's facilities - between fields, greenhouses, and warehouses - and by the way, hear Tiago talking about the nearly two hundred references of plants of all kinds there can only be surprised by the fast track of recent years. It surprises Mais Ervas's current route and portfolio, not only for the variety but also for the tailor-made production of certain customers in the nurseries and on the six hectares of land, one in Alfândega da Fé and another in Vale da Vilariça. The national market - which represents only 2% of the company's turnover - now has the potential to discover this family project. But that is precisely why you are reading this text.
